Nimsdai Foundation sets up grants and awards for schools in Dana, Nepal
At the Nimsdai Foundation we recognise 'Knowledge is Power' and access to education is vital for supporting communities. Working with the community and schools of Dana Region, near Dhaulagiri in Nepal, the Nimsdai Foundation established awards and grants to celebrate the educational success of its students.
As part of the Nimsdai Foundation’s drive to keep young people in education, we promote and celebrate the significance of education. As part of the 'Dana – Knowledge is Power Awards' programme, three students were each selected from five different schools in the Dana region and recognised for their academic excellence. These awards in Dana aim to inspire children to stay in school and foster a passion for learning. Beyond individual accolades, grants were also provided to each school to support them in transforming young lives. The 'Dana – Knowledge is Power Awards' marked a proud moment for the community, the students, and the schools involved.
