We Will Remember — honouring courage, service, and sacrifice

The Nimsdai Foundation was privileged to be invited to Lloyds of London Remembrance Service as guests of Millers Insurance and Clearwater Dynamics, to pay tribute to those who have and continue to serve.

As we paused for Remembrance Day and Armistice Day, we honour the immense courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served. Their strength and unity remind us of the power of camaraderie, values that continue to guide us at the Nimsdai Foundation today.

As a former Gurkha and member of the UK Special Forces, our Founder understands the importance of loyalty, teamwork, and perseverance as he continues to summit mountain after mountain. The bonds built between soldiers, friends, and communities - endures.

Loyalty, Teamwork and Service

We also remember and thank all those who continue to serve, in the armed forces, the emergency services, and beyond, along with their families, whose quiet strength supports every act of bravery.

Our executive director served more than 20 years in the emergency services, saving lives at sea, so knows firsthand the courage it takes to risk your life for others.

Healing Through Challenge

We must also recognise the challenges many veterans face once their service ends. The transition can be difficult, and the path to recovery, both physical and mental, often requires understanding, support, and purpose.

That is why the Nimsdai Foundation is proud to lead Project Odyssey, providing rehabilitative treks to Kilimanjaro and Everest Base Camp for veterans. Through the healing power of nature, shared adventure, and the rediscovery of self-belief, we help those who once served on the frontlines to find strength and connection once more.

If you are an individual or business who is interested in supporting Project Odyssey please get in touch.

We will continue to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

For the Fallen by Laurence Binyon

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.”
