Trek & Reflect Community Walks

Talk & Walk

Each year, the Nimsdai Foundation runs a number of ‘Trek and Reflect’ Community Walks.  These are relaxed, guided walks planned and led by members of the Foundation team, and open to anyone who would like to join us.

These walks are about enjoyment, connection, and wellbeing. They are opportunities to explore new places, spend time in nature, and walk alongside both new and familiar faces. By slowing down, sharing conversation, and making the most of the environment around us, Trek and Reflect walks are designed to support mental wellbeing, physical health, and a sense of community.

All walks are guided, but there is no pressure, you are free to join for as much or as little of the route as you choose. The atmosphere is intentionally relaxed and welcoming, with time to talk, reflect, and simply enjoy being outdoors together.

Your Participation

You must be a minimum of 18 years or over or be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Participants should be self-supporting and bring their own water and any food or refreshments they may need.

Further practical details for each walk can be found in the supporting information that will be posted with each event.

Routes are graded on a 1–5 scale:
1 = Easy (gentle terrain, suitable for most people)
5 = Hard (longer distance, steeper elevation, good fitness required)

The details of each route will be posted on our socials.

Whether you come for the walk, the conversation, the scenery, or the shared time together, Trek and Reflect is about moving and enjoying the journey, together.
