Never-Rest (Everest) Charity Challenge

June 13, 2026

A team and community challenge event

The Nimsdai Foundation first-ever ‘Never-Rest (Everest) Challenge’, a unique 24-hour endurance event designed to inspire people to push beyond their limits while raising awareness and funds for the Foundation’s life-changing work, was a great fun day and huge success.

This event took place on 13th – 14th June 2026 at the Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole. The challenge saw our team and members of the public get involved, using stair climbers to collectively attempt the elevation equivalent of Mount Everest (8,849m) as many times as possible within a 24-hour period.

After the allotted time the team at the team managed to summit Everest 3 times, with a further 6770m completed, which is approx the elevation to Camp 2.

A staggering total elevation of 33185m achieved - well done!!

Inspired by our founder

The event drew inspiration from the extraordinary achievements of Nimsdai Purja MBE, founder of the Nimsdai Foundation and world-renowned mountaineer who famously summited all 14 of the world’s highest mountains in record time which was featured on the Netflix show '14 Peaks'.
